Early Dr. appointments & 1st sonogram

On October 19th I had my first Dr. appointment in Arlington. I couldn't get a female Dr. in Everett so it was either Bothell or Arlington. I had my first apt. to verify I am pregnant, hear the heartbeat and estimate due date. After waiting 45 minutes I had a rushed visit with the Dr. Long story short, I had a bad first impression.



I had my 2nd apt. on Nov 15th with the NP who might also be the Dr. to actually deliver the baby so there are some apts. with her to so that we're familiar. She did a pap-like exam which was very painful. Never have I had a situation like that be so uncomfortable from a woman. I think she was trying to be quick to limit the uncomfortableness, but instead it just caused extra pain. Again, not a wonderful impression from this lady either. Also, my questions were answered with a quick, annoyed "that's normal" before I even finished my questions. I don't feel like she actually cares about me as a person. I might try to find a different Dr./Hospital.

On Dec 15th I had my 3rd apt. with the NP again but this time she seemed a bit nicer.
